My Chemical Romance are rock band from New Jersey, which was formed in September 2001 by Gerard Way and Matt Pelissier. Currently, the band was manned by Gerard Way (vocals), Mikey Way (bass), Ray Toro (lead guitar), Frank Iero (guitar) and Bob Bryar (drums). The band's name was inspired by a book written by Irvine Welsh is Ecstasy: Three Tales of Chemical Romance.
My Chemical Romance is a band which, according to media genre pop punk, post-hardcore, "punk revival", alternative rock. But this group describe their music as music "rock" or "pop the rough", and refused to be classified as emo. This group has released three albums namely I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love on the year 2002, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, in 2004, and The Black Parade on the year 2006.
The band was inspired by Queen, Black Flag, Iron Maiden, The Misfits, Morissey, At the Gates, Pink Floyd, The Smashing Pumpkins, Descendents, Pantera, The Cure, and The Smiths. In addition to inspired, they also inspired a group of young people who are familiar from Indonesia called the SGW.

► Gerard Arthur Way (born in Newark, New Jersey, April 9, 1977) is the vocalist and founder of the rock band My Chemical Romance. He is the brother of Mikey Way, the base band.
Gerard was born in Newark, New Jersey, where life was difficult for his family. Gerard's parents names are Donald and Donna Way. Donald came from Scotland and Donna Lee of Italy.
Small period of time, he and his brother, Mikey, was always forbidden to play outside because the neighborhood is very dangerous. And at school Gerard also often fall victim to a joke the other kids.
So, Gerard began creating fantasy worlds, and then he began drawing comic-drawing characters. In 1995 he graduated at the Belleville High School, and subsequently he was to New York City School of Fine Arts, where he graduated in 1999 and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
After that, Gerard looking for job in the comics company and eventually he became a draftsman. He himself is also creating a comic called The Breakfast Monkey, but not accepted because it was too much like a cartoon from Cartoon Network.
Time dated 11 september 2001, Gerard again be near the World Trade Center. Because the impact is very big event, he thought for his own band formation. With the help of his brother Mikey, he managed to have his own band, so that My Chemical Romance.
Gerard imitative style of Freddie Mercury and Marilyn Manson when he was on stage but never confessed.
On September 4, 2007 Gerard finally ties with personnel from the band Mindless Self Indulgences, Lyn-Z.Mereka perform such marriages in the series tour, Projekt Revolution.Pernikahan done by asking for help from promotor.Acara witness without a festive party, there are only bottled drinks and snacks, but they are all very happy.
► Raymond Manuel Toro-Ortiz (born July 15, 1977) is the lead guitarist and one of the two backing vocals from My Chemical Romance after Frank Iero. He played guitar using a Gibson Les Paul guitars.
► Michael James Way (born 10 September, 1980) was the bassist for the band My Chemical Romance and he is the brother of the singer for My Chemical Romance, Gerard Way. On March 7, 2007, Mikey married his fiancee, namely Alicia Simmons, backstage at Orleans Arena, Las Vegas after the concert band. He married by James Dewees
► Frank Anthony Iero Jr. (Born October 31, 1981) was a guitar player and one of the two backing vocals for My Chemical Romance after Ray Toro. He was born in Belleville, New Jersey. Before she signed My Chemical Romance is a member of the band Pencey Prep.
► Bob Bryar, born December 31, 1979 in Chicago, Illinois, is the drummer for My Chemical Romance. Bryar go into My Chemical Romance to replace former drummer Matt Pelissier
